- Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down.
- Turn off TV, mobile devices, anything that will distract you.
- At the allotted appointment time, on the next breath in, close your eyes.
- Let any thoughts that you have, just float past, as if on clouds (they will return when you are finished, if you need them).
- Now say to yourself ‘I am now ready to receive my Reiki treatment from Reiki Jane’.
- Your Reiki Master will proceed to give you the distant Reiki treatment for the agreed length of the appointment.
- At the end of the treatment, your Reiki Master will disconnect from the Reiki energy. You might feel that something has changed. Or you might have drifted off (which is a good thing)!
- When you are ready bring yourself back into your normal day, but don’t rush to get up until you feel ready.
- Take a couple of sips of water as this will help to ground you.
PLEASE NOTE:
It is important that you:
- Rest as much as possible directly after the treatment.
- Keep sipping water as this helps to cleanse the body of stuck energy and will help to increase the power of the Reiki energy.
- Eat light meals, avoid alcohol and take things easy for the next 24 hours.
