Description
We all love our animals and when they get sick we want to do the best that we can for them. Although we rely on our vets to take care of the physical aspects of our animal’s health, it is us humans who need to provide the ongoing love, care and attention to help our furry friends through the tough times.
Most domestic pets, dogs, cats, horses and small animals make an amazing connection with the Reiki energy and can respond well to in-person treatments as well as with distant healing. It can also be used with other animals.
Often illness and distress in our animals can, overtime, become physical symptoms. Reiki works in a holistic way to rebalance the animal’s energies to allow the underlying issues to heal themselves whether they are physical, mental, emotional or spiritual. It is suitable for all animals and is safe to use together with veterinary medicine.
What can a distant Reiki treatment help with?
Animal Reiki is a calming and relaxing experience for your animal and can help with many issues including:
- physical conditions
- relieve tension held by the animal
- helping to relax the animal
- assisting with the natural healing process
- reduce stress and anxiety
- boost energy
- helping the animal to pass peacefully at the end of life
- improving your relationship with your animal
- helping with any previous trauma the animal has experienced, perhaps with a previous owner
plus much more.
Sessions can also be arranged for you and your animal together in one treatment. This can help improve your connection with each other. Please email for further information: reikijane4@gmail.com
How is a distant animal Reiki treatment carried out?
Distant Reiki treatments are carried out remotely – the animal does not have to be with the Reiki Practitioner in order to receive the healing. You can simply sit with your animal in a quiet place for the required time in order for the animal to ‘receive’ the healing Reiki energy.
It is a great way to give your animal a treatment if you are house-bound, short of time or cannot travel. Distant animal Reiki treatments are as effective and helpful as face to face treatments as the healing energy used is the same as when the treatment is given in-person.
Making a Distant Reiki Appointment
Once payment has been received, you will be able to download a word document where you can add your details and those of your animal and provide information about any physical, emotional or spiritual issue that you would like to focus on during the treatment. Once the form has been returned via email, a date and time will be scheduled when the Reiki treatment will be carried out for you, the same as if you were attending an in-person appointment.
How to receive the Distant Reiki Treatment
Although you do not need to be with your animal during the treatment, I always like the owner to be there to see how the animal reacts and afterwards to ensure that there is drinking water, a little food and a place to rest. As with humans receiving Reiki, it is important for the animal to be allowed to rest for a day or so afterwards to allow the Reiki to do its work.
- Find a comfortable place to be with your animal.
- Turn off TV, mobile devices, anything that will distract you both.
- At the allotted appointment time, Reiki Jane with start to send the Reiki healing energy to the animal for the agreed length of the appointment.
- At the end of the treatment, Jane will disconnect from the Reiki energy. You might feel that something has changed with your animal, or the animal might have drifted off (which is a good thing)!
- Make sure there is water and a little food available and somewhere to rest.
